St. John's Catholic Church in Ogden
As you prepare for Lent, consider attending this Evening of Reflection which will include prayer, fellowship, and a talk by guest speaker.
In her talk, Karmen Darwin will offer a reflection on Mary’s relationship with God and her prayerful union with Him in hopes to help women find Mary as an accessible model of prayer. Using the Scripture and Tradition of the Church, the talk will explore Mary’s intimacy with God through her unique role in Salvation history along with the graces of her Immaculate Conception. As we approach Lent, the annual invitation to deeper conversion of heart, this talk will aim to inspire mature Christian women to approach the Lord with the heart of Mary.
Cost is to assist with cost of speaker travel. Please pay at the event. Checks payable to "Sacred Heart church" and please note in memo "Adult faith formation". Karmen has been invited to speak as part of the Radiant Women event series started this past Advent. Radiant Women is a term created to unite all women of the Ogden, Madrid and Boone parishes. These events are meant to draw all women from these parishes closer to the Lord and strengthen our radiant community. All are welcome!
